Working with
the horizon.
The intelligence of rhythm.
Rekawa carries the same philosophy into a coastal ecosystem. Here, openness, darkness, sea, natural cycles and seclusion become the starting point for a retreat shaped around biological timing.
The response
Nature sets the rhythm.
The turtle sanctuary context inspired a broader idea: a retreat ecosystem designed around natural cues rather than imposed schedules.
Light, darkness, evening ritual, sleep and recovery can respond to the biology already present in the landscape. The coastal environment therefore becomes more than scenery. It becomes part of the circadian logic of the stay.
Blackout, lighting, sleep rhythm, nervous-system regulation, recovery tools such as cold exposure and red-light therapy, plant-forward nutrition and bio-intelligent rooms are designed as one connected system.
